Something bright to fight this cold weather and gloomy sky

Hello my dears,

It's still freezing cold here and the city is a mess due to the snowy blizzardy weather.

Iwas in desperate need to see something bright on my nails so I applied a juicy orange polish: Essie's Tart Deco.

It's the first time I wear this. It was hiding in my stash in between two other bottles of untried beauties.

Two coats were enough to reach opacity and the formula was very good, self leveling, no bubbles or streaks. Oh Essie, you really have become my preferred polish.

All 4 pictures were taken indoors in artificial lighting...to cold to go outside, sorry ladies!

How about you - Do you have a preferred nail polish brand?

Freezing cold kisses!

    1. Essie polishes are just so much better than they used to be. Dare I say Thanks l'Oréal?!

  3. I think Essie and Zoya have become my favorites. I've been eyeing Tart Deco for a while but haven't bought it because I have Haute as Hello and they seem similar.

    1. I don't own Haute as hello but they do look alike, although I thing HaH is a bit darker and brighter, no?

  5. I just purchased this color a week or so ago. It's been on my wishlist for so long and I hope it looks as good on me as it looks on you. I think Essie is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite brands too. They just keep getting better and better.

    1. Oh I'm sure it will look great on you because your skin seems a bit darker than mine. And I agree, Essie is so much better now.

    1. I didn't have a preferred brand until Essie polishes got better. I'm jealous of all the brands you find in the States...here in Switzerland we don't have as many so I always navigate between OPI, Essie, China Glaze, Essence and high-end brands (when I can afford them:))

    1. Isn't it? And it's very wearable as you say, not one of those uber bright oranges you need to hide in your stash until Halloween!
